Fourth of July for Jacob

It's July 1st, 2011 and only 3 more days until we go to watch some fireworks shoot off into the skies! The last time we (me and my husband Jason) brought the kids to the fireworks was last year and Jacob was only 10 months old and by the time we got there to see the fireworks, Jacob had fallen asleep in the car, so my husband stayed in the car while Jacob slept and my husband watched the fireworks from his car, while me and my older son Cameron who is now 7 years old and my stepson Caleb who is 8 years old walked a little ways to go watch the fireworks shoot off into the sky! of course like every other year the kids loved them! they would point out each of the really cool colorful ones and the ones with different shapes and the VERY loud ones! they'd get so excited and would jump up and down with excitement! anyways this year Jacob is 21 months and I'm looking forward to seeing his reactions when he hears and sees the fireworks, i wonder if he will be scared of the loud BOOMS! or if he will smile and screech with excitement as he points to the skies and gabs his toddler words and smiles. He may wonder what's going on and what they are, he may think they are a bunch of lights exploding in the sky, he loves all kinds of lights, he's always pointing at lights and Love's to play with toys that light up and he Love's very bright and colorful things, so I'm going to guess that he will love the fireworks! I guess we will see! I know the two older kids are looking forward to it and they get excited every year! I can't wait! I will update you all on how Jacob's fireworks experience goes!
